Joan P. Sharkey (nee Casement), of Toms River , formerly of Kearny, died April 3, 2016. She was 83. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Mass thursday at 11 am in St. Cecilias Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Wife of the late Arthur Sharkey she is survived by her children and their spouses Gregg B. Sharkey (Joan), Steven A. Sharkey (Karen), Janet Hallacker and Joni Beth Roderick (Patrick); her grandchildren Allison, Gregg, Daniel, Bobby, Ian, Danielle, Connor, Gavin and Sam; her great grandchildren Kelsey, Shane and Madelyn along with many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Joan was predeceased by her brothers John and Robert Casement.
