Luz Camilo Peralta, 72, passed away on February 2, 2019 in the Vitas Hospice in Wayne. Luz was born in Salcedo, Dominican Republic and lived 30 plus years in Kearny before moving to North Arlington nine years ago. Visiting is Tuesday February 5, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Service Wednesday 11 a.m. in the funeral home and burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Luz is survived by her husband Oscar Peralta. She was the mother of Merlyn Perdomo, Jacqueline Perdomo-Nova, John Perdomo and Kelvin Perdomo. Step mother of Carolina Peralta and Nicolas Peralta. Sister of Gladys Camilo Martinez, Miguel Angel Camilo, Juan Pablo Camilo, Zoila Luz Del Carmen Camilo, Noris Camilo Keller, Jose A. Camilo and the late Fernando R. Camilo. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Jason, Antonella, Andrea, Serenity, Valentina, Luciana and Madison.
