Ruth Ingram Oconnor (nee Whalen) died 11/28/12 at home. She was 84. Born in Harlem, N.Y. she lived most of her life in Kearny.
Visiting will begin on Friday at 9 30 am and the service will start at 11 30 am at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Ruth was a manager at Mace Bros. Fine Furniture in Kearny. Wife of the late Thomas Ingram and the late Patrick Oconnor, she is survived by her daughter and her husband Linda and Jesse Atwell and her daughter in law Shirley Ingram. Also surviving are 5 grand and 5 great grandchildren and her sister Lillian Mace. She was predeceased by her son Thomas.
