John J. O'Grady, Jr. died in Newark on October 12, 2012. He was 77.
Private arrangements are by the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home in Kearny.
Husband of Joan (nee Kirby), he is survived by his children Patrick, William, Joanie Sloezen, Margaret Calero, Rosemary Kaufman, Patricia Madarro and Michael. Brother of Mary Ann Kennel, he is also survived by many grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons, Steven and John.
