Richard A. Richardson entered into eternal rest on May 5, 2013 at home. He was 74. Born in East Orange he lived many years in Kearny before moving to Watchung in 1992. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 7-9 and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny. Mass will be on Friday at 11 am in St. Cecilias Church. Burial will foillow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Rich served in The Army from 1964 until 1969 and is a retired Marketing Director from Federal Pacific Electric in Newark.
Beloved husband of Anne (nee Sheldrick), he is the son of the late William and Helen Richardson and the late William Ott. He is survived by his loving sons and their wives Stephen and Maria Richardson and Michael and Sandra Richardson, his brother Frederick and his cherished grandchildren Alyssa, Brittany and Hannah. He was predeceased by his brother Bill. Rich is also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
