Maryanne Galway (nee Steffens) passed away on July 3, 2013 at Sunset Beach in North Carolina. She was 55. Born in Hoboken NJ she lived in Kearny and Point Pleasant NJ before moving to North Carolina in 1995. Visiting will be at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass Tuesday at 10:30 am in St. Stephens Church. Private cremation will follow.
Maryanne was active with St. Matthews Church and was an attendance clerk for The Fort Mill Board of Education.
She is the cherished daughter of Robert and Marie (nee McGowan) Steffens, beloved wife of Edward Galway and loving mother to Laura Norrell (Johannes) and Kristen Galway. Sister of Robert and Paul Steffens and Leslie Florio she also leaves her cherished grandson Alexander and many nieces and nephews.
