Mary Hickey died February 24, 2014 at home. She was 81. Born in Brooklyn she moved to Kearny 15 years ago. Memorial visiting will be on Friday from 4 until 6 pm at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove drive Kearny. Service will take place at 6 pm. The cremation was private.
Mary was a Nursing Assistant at The Brooklyn Methodist Hospital for many years. Wife of the late James Greer, she is survived by her children and their spouses Stephen Hickey, Pat and Lew Battista, Kathy and Tom McGrade and Jacqueline Sabbagh. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
