After a courageous battle Michael Diglio lost his life to an all ensnaring and powerful illness. He was the beloved son of Peter and Joanne (nee Bongiovanni) Diglio. The visiting will be on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove drive, Kearny. Mass will be on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Stephens Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Michael was unconditionally supported and loved by his sisters and their husbands Melissa and Dennis Healy and Amanda and James Goodwin. His play dates and devotion to his nephew and nieces were legendary. "Uncle Mikel" (as the kids called him) adored Lillia, Cora, Keiller and Maggie.
Among all who knew him Michael's big heart, genouristy of spirit and kindness were his trademark. He was equally known for his Metallica and Devils Facebook posts. His parents will always feel blessed and proud to have called him thier son. He leaves a big footprint behind.
Michael graduated from The University of Delaware and had worked at C.D.S. in Wharton. He was currently pursuing his interest in Landscape design. In addition to leaving his loving loving family, he leaves behind many close friends from Glen Ridge High School and very supportive friends from The Milestone Home and Seabrook.
