Peter Bachanas died June 2, 2014 in Lehighton, Pa. He was 95. Born in Harrison, N.J. , he lived many years in Kearny before moving to Jim Thorpe, Pa, 13 years ago. Visiting will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Dive Kearny. Peter had been a Plant Manager for Charles E. Green and Son in Newark. Husband of the late Anna (nee Razilawech), he is the father of Diane Luedtke (her husband Al) and the late Peter S. Bachanas. He is also survived by his brother Albine Zilis and his grandchildren Michael and Elizabeth.
