William Martin died peacefully on September 25, 2014. He was 81. Born in Jersey City he lived most of his life in Kearny before moving to Succasunna six years ago. Visiting will be on Sunday from 3 until 7 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral omem596 Belgrove Drive Kearny. Service will begin at 6:30 p.m. and private cremation will follow. Mr. Martin served in The Coast Guard and is a member of The American Legion in Kearny. He is a retired Postal Worker and was a member of The Green Pond Bible Chapel.
Husband of the late Joan (nee Wilson) he is survived by his daughters Nancy Franchino (Ron) and Christine Martin. He is also survived by his grandchildren James, Danny, Nicole, Jake, Emily and Ian and five great grandchildren.
