James "Jimmy" J. Spanton 66, of Hawley, PA died on November 19, 2015.
Visiting will be atThe Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny on Monday 4-8PM. Services will be on Tuesday at 11AM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
Born in Hoboken, N.J. Mr. Spanton was raised inWest New York, N.J. and lived in Kearny before moving to Hawley, PA4 years ago.
He was a self employed horse trainer for over 50 years.
He is the son of the late James and Eleanor Sheehy Spanton. Father of Donald Spanton. Brother of Bill Spanton (Carole) and Eileen Memolo (Frank). Uncle of Bill Spanton, Ryan Alling and Kelly Memolo. Great Uncle of Julie, Billy, Breanna and Natalie. Good friend of Tony Evaristo and Diane Heiser. He is also survived by many cousins.
