Born in Hoboken, Joanne is the daughter of the late Anthony and Angelina Procaccino. She lived in Union City until she got married and raised a family in Kearny, N.J. for 35 years before moving to Manchester, N.J.
She is the beloved wife of George of 47 years, the cherished mother of Grant of Lyndhurst and Christian and his wife Barbara (Ruban) of Florham Park, the adored Nana of sisters Avery and Rylie and brothers Jack and Peter, three loving sisters Annette Barnaba (Leonardo), Marianne DeRosa (Rich) and Sharon Vecchi (Dominick). She also leaves behind sister-in-law Jacqueline Falcone (late Dr. Gerry) and brother-in-law Joseph Binetti (late Joyce), and many loving nieces and nephews.
George and Joanne were together since the age of 14. They enjoyed spending summer vacations on the beach in Wildwood Crest, N.J. with their family.
Visiting will be on Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny. Mass Tuesday 10:30 a.m. in St. Stephens Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
