Visiting will be at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Thursday at 10am at The Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Newark. Interment will take place in Puerto Rico.
Mr. Montijo was a machine manager with Westinghouse, Newark. He was a member of The Trike Masters Motorcycle Club and Coqui Social Club, Newark. Mr. Montijo was a Deacon at The Cathedral Basilica of The Sacred Heart, Newark.
He is the beloved husband of Margarita Vasquez Montijo. Father of Zelideth Montijo, Elizabeth Montijo-Rosado, Victor L, William E and Eduardo Montijo. Brother of Irma Garcia and Luis Montijo. Grandfather of George, Jr., Jorge Andres, Ezra S., Ezem S., Carlos J., Eric R., Tyler A., Alyssa I., and William A.. Great Grandfather of Joshua, Sopia and Alyah.
In lieu of flowers donations to The St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
