Lawrence McGeehan, life long Kearny resident, died on February 12, 2016 at the home of his brother Bob. He was 65. Visiting will be on Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Mass Tuesday 10:30 a.m. in St. Stephens Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Larry was a sub station Electrical Mechanic for 36 years for PSEG Palisades division. He was also shop steward for 30 years for both IBEW Local 1320 and 94. He was a member of The Kearny Eagles Club.
He is survived by hos brothers and their wives John J. and Judy McGeehan and Robert and Debbie McGeehan. Uncle of Alyson Cole, Jaclyn MacDonald, Kara McGeehan, John McGeehan and Kathleen McGeehan, he is also survived by 4 great nieces and one great nephew.
