Thomas G. Gerulat of Kearny died on June 1, 2016 at Clara Maass, he was 87. Visiting will be on Monaday June 6, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. in the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. The service will be at 12:30 p.m. and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Tom was the son of the late Anton and Mary Gerulat and the brother of the late Bernard and Jack Gerulat. He is survived by caring neighbors and friends.
He was in the 1946 class of Kearny High School and entered the Army on October 2, 1946, serving in The Airways and Air Communications Service Head Quarters 1934th AACS Squadron. He was honorable discharged at the rank of S/Sgt. He subsequently was employed by Lockheed Martin and was instrumental in the development of the Polaris Missle System. May he rest in peace.
