Howard Schulze died on June 21, 2016 at home. He was 96. Born in Newark he lived most of his life in Kearny. Visiting will be on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Funeral service will be private.
Mr. Schulze was a WWII Army veteran. He served in the Fourth Armored Division under General Patton. He was a Truck Driver for many years for various companies eventually retiring from Breyer Ice Cream.
Husband of the late Madeline (nee Rudden), he is survived by his children and their spouses; Mary Torres (Jose), Linda Schulze (John Matturri), Kathy Schlagenhaft (Paul), Diane Schulze (Jimmy Plaugic), Patty Schulze, Howard Schulze, Thomas Schulze (Roseann) and Joseph Schulze.
Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
