David Merk, of Kearny, passed away July 9, 2016 at Summit Ridge in west Orange. He was 58. Private arrangements were handled by The Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home in Kearny.
David had been a Boiler Room Engineer with Local 68. He was the son off the late Thomas and Rosemary (nee Cier) Merk. He is survived by his longtime partner George Varas, his brother Thomas J. Merk and sister Rosemary Cook along with their families.
