Clarice R. Grinnell, 86 of North Arlington passed away on August 29, 2016.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery. Visitation is on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Born in North Arlington, Clarice was a lifelong resident. She worked at Equity Savings & Loan in Kearny for many years, retiring as Vice-President 20 years ago. A graduate of the American Savings & Loan Institute of NJ, she served as President of the NJ Chapter Women's Association of Savings & Loan Institutions, and as Chairlady of the NJ Savings League. An avid bowler, she also belonged to the Harrison Bowling League.
Clarice was the dear sister of Harold Grinnell, Constance Whitney (Robert), Claudette Sturgeon (late John), and the late Carol Pierndozzi. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Cathy Miller (Scott), Scott Whitney (Karen), Patrica DePui (Russell), Joanne McKenna (John), and Susan Crater (John); great-nieces and nephews Christine Smith, Robert McCain, Cayla and Lauren McKenna and Allyson and Connor DePui; and by her great-great-niece Allison Paige.
