Amparo Iglesia passed away on February 28, 2017. She was 99. Born in Spain she lived in Newark before moving to Kearny six years ago. Visiting is Thursday from 3 until 7 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrve Drive, Kearny. Mass Friday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Stephens Church and entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Amparo is the wife of the late Ceferino Iglesia. Mother of Guadalupe Miguel, Juan Iglesia and the late Fernando Iglesia, she is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
