Born in Newark, Genny lived in Kearny for 70 years. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, and taking care of her grandchildren.
Genny was the loving mother of Debbie Pereira and her husband Joseph, Terry Alfano and her husband Joe, and the late John Modzelewski; dear grandmother of John and his wife Erin, Joseph, Jeremy, Jennifer and the late Michael; and great-grandmother of Michaela and Caitlin.
