Kathleen "Kathy" A. Way 76, of Kearny died on April 23, 2017.
Visiting will at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive on Wednesday 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephens Church, Kearny. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Passaic, Kathy grew up in Rutherford and lived in North Arlington before to Kearny in 1970.
She graduated from St. Mary's High School, Rutherford and St. Vincent's Nursing School, Montclair. She was a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic for many years.
She is the beloved wife of the late Henry "Hank" A. Way. Mother of Steven G. Way and Kathleen Way Rodriguez (Ramon). Sister of the late Richard Thomas Smith. Grandmother of Alexis Ella Rodriguez. She is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
