Carlos Sjoberg 88, of Kearny died on September 16, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.
Visiting will be at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home on Friday 6-8PM. Services will be on Saturday at 11:30am at the funeral home. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Peru, Carlos lived in New York City before retiring to Kearny last year.
He was self employed as a superintendent of building maintenance in New York City for many years. He was the founder and member of Fraternidad de San Martin de Porres, New York City and a member of Senor de Los Milagros of St. Benedict Church, New York City.
He is the beloved husband of Flor Aguirre Sjoberg. Father of Ana Sjoberg and Jackie (Chuck) Gilker. Brother of the late Vincente, Gustavo and Roberto Sjoberg. Grandfather of Austin and Jennifer.
In lieu of flowers donation to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
