Lillian M. Whitford 86, of Hoboken passed away on September 18, 2017.
Visiting will be at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny on Friday 4-8PM. Services will be on Saturday at 10AM at St. John's Lutheran Church 155 North Street Jersey City. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Born in Hoboken, Lillian lived in North Bergen and North Arlington before returning to Hoboken in 2007.
She was a mailroom supervisor at Sears Distribution Center in North Bergen for 24 years retiring in 1987. Lillian was an active member at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jersey City and a member of The Lyndhurst AARP.
She is the beloved wife of the late William E. Whitford. Dear mother of Bill and Barbara of Lyndhurst and Bruce and Patricia of Old Bridge. Grandmother of Brendan and wife Lauren, Matthew and fiancé Brittany, Brian and fiancé Lindsay, Jennifer and Scott. She is survived by her sister Catherine Garbarini and Sister in Law Frances Fedkenheuer. She is predeceased by her brothers Fred, John and William Fedkenheuer and sisters Helen Ferarri, Roseann Warmenhoven, Anna O'Brien and Joan Angione.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
