Marie P. Caputo (nee Engrassia) passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2018. She was 85. Born in Lyndhurst she lived in Kearny for 52 years. Visiting is Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9 a.m. and we will leave for Holy Cross Cemetery at 10 a.m.
Marie had been a switchboard operator at West Hudson Hospital. She is survived by her husband Frank P. Caputo, Sr., her children; Frank P., Jr., (Dorothy), Philip (Margie), Michael (Kathy) and John (Kelly). sister of Joseph Engrassia (Lucille) she is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
