Michael E. Nash "Mickey"

Michael E. Nash "Mickey" 67 of Newark died on October 10, 2018.

Visiting will be at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny on Tuesday 4-8PM.  Services will be at 7:30PM at the funeral home.  Cremation will be private.

Born in Kearny, Mickey, lived in Kearny before moving to Newark 35 years ago.

He was a transport driver with Hilltop Fuel, Bloomfield for 15 years.  Earlier in his career he was a taxi cab driver with Schuyler Cab Company, Kearny.

Michael was an antique car enthusiast and belonged to many car clubs in the area. 

He also was a song writer and poet as well.  If you heard "Nights in White Satin" or have been in a "Taxi" or "Lost Without Your Love", or have waited for the "Last Song" you will recognize Mickey's writing ability.

He is the beloved son of the late Thomas Nash, Sr. and Charlotte Schweitzer Nash.  Dear brother of Thomas J. Jr., James, Anthony and Phillip Nash, Wennie Minguito and the late Anna Marie Crefeld. Step son of Marianita Nash.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
