Claudina C. Cosme 77, of East Newark died on October 22, 2018 at home.
Visiting will be at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny on Wednesday 5-9PM. Bishop Manuel Cruz will be officiating the services at 8:30 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
Born in Santa Clara, Cuba, Mrs. Cosme lived in in Harrison before moving to East Newark.
She was a patient transporter with United Hospital in Newark for 30 years. After United Hospital, she worked in the same capacity at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center for 7 years.
She is the beloved wife for 57 years of Juan J. Cosme. Mother of Juan A. (Mercedes) and Lazaro J. (Alexandra) Cosme. Sister of Alberto Garrido. Grandmother of Ashley, Jiovanni, Evan and Mia.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
