Evelyn "Jean" Sansone (nee Kaywork) 91, died on March 26, 2018.
Visiting will be at The Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive Kearny on Friday 4-8PM. Services will be on Saturday at 10AM at the funeral hone. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Logansport, Indiana, Jean lived in Kearny before moving to Toms River two years ago.
Jean was a secretary with Congoleum Nairn in Kearny She was the Past President of Emerson School P.T.A., Past President of Marconi's Women's Auxilary, Past President of The Women's Club of Arlington and the Past President of Kearny Ladies of UNICO.
She is the beloved wife of the late Daniel T. Sansone, former Mayor of Kearny, who died on October 13, 1992. Mother of Charles (Heather), Lawrence (Virginia) and Richard (late Mary) Sansone and the late Daniel Sansone, Jr. Mother in law of Jane Sansone. Sister of Mary Bender (John), Sharon Kaywork Sterople, Calvin (late Helen), Ira "Whimpy" (Emma), Paul (Christine) and Lee (Maryjane) Kaywork and the late Donald and Linda Kaywork. Grandmother of Danielle (Patrick), Ashley, Emma, Lindsay, Anthony, Brittany, Melissa (Richard), Christine (late Lorenzo) and Jessica. Great Grandmother of Charles, Henry, Andrew, Talia and Isabella. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
