August Misiag, passed away on January 29, 2019. He was 86. Born in Rolikowka, Poland he lived in Kearny before moving to Harrison in 1965. Visiting will be Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Mass Saturday 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Misiag was a Tool and Dye Maker for Newark Dye Company in Springfield. August is survived by his wife Anna (nee Bolibruch). Father of Mark Misiag (Karen), Margaret Loy (Alex) and Edward Misiag (Michele). He is also survived by his brother Walter and his grandchildren; Allyson, Robert, Jack and Luke.
