Marie Blair (nee Catrambone) passed away on October 13, 2019. She was 100 years old. Born in East Newark, she lived most of her life in Kearny. Visiting will be on Friday October 18, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Her funeral service will take place that same morning at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Marie loved playing Boccie Ball, swimming, gardening and cooking. She enjoyed her winters at her homes in Punta Gorda, FL. and her summers in Point Pleasant. Wife of the late James Blair, she was the beloved mother of Janet Blair and Marie Vicari and her son James who passed when only the age of 20. Sister of the late Martin Catrambone she is also survived by her grandchildren Victoria, Carolyn and James. In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation to The American Heart Association.
