Charlene Calvanico, 66 of Kearny passed away on October 19, 2019 at Clara Maass Medical Center.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Charlene at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Wednesday October 23 from 9 - 11 AM. A Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 11 AM, followed by the burial at Arlington Cemetery.
Born in Jersey City, Charlene lived in Kearny since 1979. She worked for many years at the deli counter at Foodtown of Kearny before retiring last year. Charlene most enjoyed celebrating life with family and friends, and will be remembered for her amazing sense of humor.
Charlene was the beloved partner of over 20 years to James Wiest; loving mother of Alisa DelFreo and her husband Robert, and Anthony Calvanico and his wife Dawn. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Lucas, Autumn, Anthony and Andrea.
