David A. Amabile 63, died on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Mr. Amabile was born and raised in Kearny and has lived in town for some 58 years. He has been a resident of Toms River since 2013. David worked for the United States Postal Service in Kearny for 35 years before retiring. He was an avid racquetball player, who loved walking and cooking and an excellent bowler. David was a caretaker to his mom and dad and his brother, Tony . David is predeceased by his parents, Arsenio and Cecelia (nee Testa) Amabile and his brother, Tony Amabile. He is survived his loving brother, Peter Amabile, by his dear sister, Theresa Bissell (Nicholas), by his niece and nephew, Rebecca Nappi (Gerald) and Joseph Cmielewski( Laura) and grand nieces and nephew, Caroline, Isabella and Andrew. The most kindest, loving, giving, generous, caring, brother, ever…None better”. David will be missed dearly by his family.
Visiting will be at Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive on Wednesday, from 4 to 8PM. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, 10 a.m. St. Cecelia’s Church, Kearny .
