Ryan D. Fraser

Ryan D. Fraser, of Kearny, passed away  May 20, 2019. He was 40. Private arrangements are by the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to The Sharing Network of NJ or The PBGC, P.O. Box 79 Kearny, NJ 07032.

Ryan worked for over 20 years as a director of The Presbyterian Boys-Girls Club in Kearny. He will be missed by  hundreds of children who loved him. Ryan was an avid baseball player and fan. He was a star pitcher for Kearny High School and Caldwell College. He attended six colleges and excelled in economics. In addition to traveling to sporting events, he loved action and SiFi movies especially Star Wars and Hallmark movies.

Ryan was a recipient of a heart transplant in 2018 and courageously battled transplant complications. His last selfless act was to be an organ donor himself. He will live on in the hearts of many and by actual recipients who  will have life because of him.

Ryan is survived by many loving relatives who include; his wife Michele (nee Dubis), his brothers and sister Daniel Fraser, Tami Fraser Dinello and Thomas Fraser. His uncles Thomas and Rich Fraser, his step brothers in law Sean and Scott Emmerling, his mother in law and her husband, Nancy and Ted Emmerling and his father in law and his wife Walter and Despina Dubis.   Ryan loved his dogs Leia, Mackey and Wolf. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
