Olga C. Benavides (nee Mora), 86 of Kearny passed away at home on October 12, 2020.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation for Olga at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Friday from 4-8 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen’s Church in Kearny on Saturday at 10 AM. Cremation will be held privately.
Born in Quito, Ecuador, Olga lived in Kearny for 25 years. She worked as a seamstress for many years until her retirement. Olga loved her pets and enjoyed crocheting; but most treasured time spent with her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Olga was the beloved wife of the late Jose Benavides; loving mother of Rosa, Nancy, Gloria, Julio II and Laura Benavides, and the late Julio and Jaime Benavides. She was the cherished grandmother of 13, and great-grandmother of five. She is also survived by her dear brother Osvaldo Mora and sister Ana Mora.
