Gabriel Manuel Barboza, 19 of Kearny passed away on October 2, 2020.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Gabe at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Wednesday October 7 from 4-8 PM. Cremation will be held privately.
Born in Livingston, Gabe was a lifelong Kearny resident. Always having enjoyed working on cars and trucks, Gabe was employed as a truck mechanic for Wabash in Keasbey, NJ. Gabriel loved taking things apart and putting them back together, as well as having fun off-roading with friends.
Gabe is survived by parents Sofia Oliveira and her husband Eder Mendes, father Jose Barboza; brother DJ Oliveira, grandfather Laurentino Oliveira and by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Gabe is also survived by his long-time, beloved girlfriend, Danielle Sheldrick and dear friends, Alex McLaughlin, Esteban Martinez, Connor Mancini and Bob and Rossana McLaughlin, all of whom he resided with.
