Jose Manuel Dias, 70, of Kearny formerly of Nelas, Portugal. passed away on November 21,2020. Beloved husband of 45 years to Maria Isabel Dias (nee Ramos Marques). Devoted father of Jacqueline and her husband Ricardo Serodio, Antonio Dias and his wife Rose. Loving grandfather of Lucas & Dylan Serodio. He also leaves behind many loving friends and family. He was a proud Laborer for the Excavators/Laborers Local Union 731, Carp Construction, Staten Island, NY. He served for The Portuguese Army before relocating in the United States of America. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and vacationing in Portugal. But, above all he loved to spend time with his two grandchildren, Lucas & Dylan.
Family & friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday 2-6pm at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. (Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please keep your visit brief)
Funeral service, 9am Wednesday at the funeral home followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial, St. Stephen’s Church, Kearny.
Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington.
