Jorge Oswaldo Urgiles-Mendez, 62 of Belleville passed away on February 27, 2020.
Visiting Friday March 6, 2020 from 5 until 9:00 p.m. at Armitage and Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Mass Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church
Born in Ecuador, Jorge lived in New York for many years until moving to Belleville one year ago. He was a longtime waiter at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan.
The son of the late Moses and Blanca Urgiles, Jorge is survived by his children George Urgiles and Antoinette Urgiles, brothers Raul Alfredo Urgiles, Hernan Urgiles and Victor Urgiles, sisters Gladys Urgiles-Mendez, Cecilia Urgiles-Mendez and Natalividad Urgiles. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
