Amparo Haggan passed away at home on May 24, 2020. She was 77. Born in Lima, Peru she immigrated to The United States in 1968. First to Jersey City and than North Arlington in 1973. Private arrangements are by the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home in Kearny.
Amparo was an Artist for Syms in Seacaucus. She was a 1964 graduate of Catholic University and Escuela of Arts both in Lima Peru. While living in Peru she was a teacher of Fine Arts.
Wife of the late Gary Haggan, she was the sister of Lucy Gonzalez, Eliana Ricciardi, Gaby (Mia) Gonzalez, Gladys Cuadra, Patricia Campos and the late Alonzo Gonzalez. Also surviving are many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. in lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
