Eleanor 'Ellie' (nee Lardier) Fraser, 98 of Kearny passed away on October 24, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Ellie at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Thursday from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Church on Friday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
Born in Nutley, Ellie was a longtime Kearny resident. She worked at Drug Fair for over 30 years. A fun loving woman, Ellie enjoyed being around people. Always ready for a party, she was kind and loved to dance. Most of all, Ellie treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
The beloved wife of the late James Fraser, Ellie was the loving mother of Michele Syme (George), Patricia McMahon (William) and Nanette Wagner (Donald), dear grandmother of Heather Drexler (Paul), Bethany Mikolajczyk (James), Robert Wagner (Katie), Devin McMahon, Hayley McMahon and Michele Wagner; adoring great-grandmother of Emily, Katherine, Quincy, Ryan, Griffin, and one more on the way. She was predeceased by her siblings Michael, Mae, Amuel, Mary, Geraldine and Genevieve, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
