Eleanor Berberick, (nee Peterson) passed away on November 11, 2021. She was 94 years old. She was born in Jersey City and lived most of her life there. Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 until 6:00 pm at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Mass Monday at 11 a.m. in Stephen’s Church and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Berberick. Mother of Joseph Berberick ( Carol), John Berberick (Lillian) and Maureen Coleman (Edward). She was predeceased by her siblings Lawrence Peterson, Florence Moulton, Lucille O’Halloran and Ruth O’Neill. She was the loving grandmother of Jennifer Joskowitz, John Berberick, Edward Coleman, Matthew Coleman, Matthew Ferretti, Sean Coleman, Joseph Berberick and Susan Berberick. She also had nine great grandchildren, Aaron Joskowitz, Zachary Joskowitz, James Golden, Colleen Berberick, Sophia Berberick, Parker Berberick, Owen Berberick, Jack Coleman and Peter Coleman.
