Adriano P. ‘Agie’ Measso, 71 passed away on November 13, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Agie at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Wednesday from 3-7 PM, with a funeral service being celebrated at 6:30 PM. Cremation will be held privately.
Born in Jersey City, Agie lived in Kearny for 43 years until recently moving to Fairfield. He worked for the USPS in various positions until retiring as a director. Agie was also a dedicated coach for the Kearny REC for many years.
Agie was the beloved husband of Maryjane (nee Lawrence) Measso; loving father of Cynthia Springer (Steven), Peter, Sr. (Deborah), Paul (Allison) and Matthew (Tara); dear grandfather of Nicholas, Amanda, Peter, Jr. (PJ), Aiden, Avery and Abigail. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Maria Measso, and by his daughter-in-law Alisa. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Francis, Dorothy, Dolores and Kathleen, many loving nieces and nephews, and by his beloved cat Bella.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
