Marino Nelson Pared, Jr. passed away on November 21, 2021. Loving son of Marino Nelson Pared Diaz and Carmen Celida Diaz. Beloved husband of Iris Perez. Devoted father of Nelson Pared, Jr., Angel Pared, Michael Pared and Daniel Pared. Caring grandfather of Nelson Angel Pared, Nathan Nakai Pared, Naya Juliette Pared, Josiah Pared-Matos and Annalia Madison Pared. Dear great grandfather of Dylan Ethan Pared and Noah Alexander Pared. Brother of Jeannette Rivera, Danny Arocho, Belkis Valentin, Roberto Pared, Wanda Pared, Eddy Pared, Diana Mateo, Carlos Mateo, Alberto Pared and Genesis Quiles Pared. He will be truly missed by many loving family and friends.
Nelson worked all his life and held various jobs since arriving to the United States from the Dominican Republic. He devoted his entire life to his family, work and enjoyed watching sports. He recently retired and was looking forward to enjoying his retirement with his wife Iris. His past time was playing dominoes every weekend with his father at a local social club in Newark, NJ. Marino was full of joy, laughter, and love. He was charismatic, playful, reliable and helpful.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 4-8pm at Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny.
A 10:30am Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 3, 2021, at St. Cecilia’s RCC, Kearny.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
