Kathleen B. Podlaski (nee Goral), 78 of North Arlington passed away on December 26, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Kathleen at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Tuesday December 28 from 4-7 PM, with a funeral service being celebrated at 6:30 PM. Cremation will be held privately.
Born in Newark, Kathleen was a longtime Kearny resident. She most cherished time spent caring for all animals, especially her loving cats.
The beloved wife of the late Michael Podlaski, Kathleen was the loving mother of Michael Podlaski and his fiance Maria Damaceno, and the late Bernadette Albinson. She was the proud grandmother of Kaitlyn (Brian), Shannon (Jason), Joel (Alexandra), Emily (Daniel), Alex and the late Gabriel; and adoring great-grandmother of Aaron, Amelia, Christina, Aubrey and Benjamin. She was the dear sister of Joyce Cocuzza and Regina Shekon, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the ASPCA.
