Dr. Orlando Edreira Fit, passed away on February 25, 2021. He was 87. He was born in Habana, Cuba he lived in Elizabeth, NJ before moving to Belleville eleven years ago.
Funeral services are in the care of Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. There will be a service at the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington, on Monday March 1, 2021 at 11:30 a.m.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sylvia Ribau. He was the dear father of Gloria Edreira and Sonia Edreira. He is also survived by his brother and two cherished grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Orlando held three P.H.D. s and was a member of The State Board of Education. He taught in both Kean University and Columbia University. He was a Councilman at Large in Elizabeth
