Luisa Marella Garcia, 79 of Kearny passed away on April 25, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Luisa at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Thursday April 29 from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated at 7:30 PM, and cremation will be held privately.
Born in Lima, Peru, Luisa moved to Kearny 42 years ago. Loved by everyone who met her, Luisa was impossible to forget. She treasured time spent at family gatherings, especially around the kids. A great cook, everybody knew that you would not go hungry after a visit to Luisa’s home. Luisa also enjoyed keeping up with her telenovelas. Lovingly known as the “fashion police”, Luisa loved going shopping. She lit up every room she went in, and will be greatly missed.
Luisa was the beloved wife of Henry Garcia, loving mother of Jennifer Amador and her husband Osman, and adoring grandmother of eight grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Alfonso Arano and his wife Elide, nephews Alfonso Arano and his wife Gabriella Ochoa and Alain Arano and his wife Rosa Tristan; and by many other loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
