Carol Meissner (nee Dean) passed away on September 1, 2021. She was 84. Visiting will be on Monday from 3 until 7 pm at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home. Her funeral service will take place on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
Carol was very involved with The Compassionate Friends. This group is a nationwide support group for those who lost a child. After the loss of her son Jack she found much solace and comfort with them. She was a moderator and had many friends from many states.
Wife of John H. Meissner, she was the mother of Robert Meissner (Michelle), Patricia Casey (Michael) and the late Jack Meissner (Diane). Sister of Al Dean (Evelyn) , she is also survived by her grandchildren; Robert, Jason, Jennifer and Andrew along with her loving nieces and nephews; Leslie, Amy, Beth, Wendy and Michael.
