Julia Dapena, of Kearny, passed away on April 11, 2022 in the home of her son Julio. She was 73. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. Her Mass will be on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia’s Church in Kearny and entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Julia was the wife of the late Candido Dapena. Mother of Julio Dapena (his wife Maria) and Emilio Dapena (his wife Elizabeth). Sister of Avelardo Lopez, Jose E. Lopez, Jose L. Lopez and Dolores Rodriguez. Also surviving are her grandsons Jonathan and Joshua.
