Catherine A. Hart, 56 of Ogdensburg passed away on September 24, 2022.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation for Catherine at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Friday September 30 from 4-8 PM.
Born in Kearny, Catherine grew up in Harrison, and lived in North Arlington until residing in Rutherford and Lyndhurst for many years, finally settling in Ogdensburg two years ago. She began her career in the mail room at Prudential, and due to her diligent efforts, intelligence, inquisitive nature and drive, worked her way through the ranks, ending her career as the technology director for Barclay’s Investment Bank. She was athletic, and fervently supported her son throughout his athletic and educational career. She was a great mother, and was forever proud of all she accomplished on her own merit, without a college degree.
Catherine was the devoted daughter of Lois Mae (Hoyle) Deegan. She is survived by her loving former husband, Darin Hart, and by her cherished son, Darin Hart. She is also survived by her dear sisters Patty Egan and her husband Philip Egan, Lori Hinkle and her partner Tom Mulrenan, Barbara Deegan and Alice Kelly and her husband Larry Kelly. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and their families.
