Clara Rivera passed away on January 2, 2023. She was 64. Born in New York City she lived in Brooklyn before moving to Newark 25 years ago. Visiting will be on Sunday January 8, 2023 at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny from 2 until 6 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be on Monday at 9:45 a.m. in Queen of Peace Church on Ridge Road in North Arlington and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Clara is survived by her husband Angel Lugo and her sons Matthew and Christopher Figueroa. Sister of Francisco Rivera, she is also survived by her grandchildren; Jason Matthew Figueroa, Jordan Figueroa, Aylan Figueroa and Dylan Figueroa.
