Anthony J. Tretola, 68 of Beach Lake, PA passed away on February 26, 2023.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Anthony at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Newark, Anthony lived in the Ironbound Section until moving to Keansburg. He enjoyed residing in Beach Lake for the past 20 years. Anthony owned and operated April Showers Carwash in Newark, and later Just Tires. He was also a mechanic in the trucking industry for many years. Anthony had a passion for racing cars, and was a talented painter and handyman. Above all, Anthony treasured time spent with his friends and family, and was never afraid to celebrate life by having a drink or two.
The son of the late Rose Tretola, Anthony was predeceased by his wife Debbie. He is survived by his loving children Anthony Tretola, Lisa Tretola-Slegel and Daniel Hayes. He was the dear brother of Carol Carfagna (late Angelo) and Carmella Sanchez (Jesus), and devoted grandfather of Anthony, Nick, Lily, Griffin and Nathan. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
