Anne M. Romero, 78 of Kearny passed away on March 23, 2023.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Anne at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Dr. Kearny on Tuesday March 28 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at Holy Cross Church in Harrison at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Puerto Rico, Anne moved with her family to Chicago when she was a young girl. They later relocated to New York City and to Newark. Anne has lived in Kearny for the past 50 years. She worked as a book keeper for Kearnen’s Jewelers prior to her retirement. Anne was a wonderful person, who was fiercely devoted to her family. There was nothing she would not do for someone she loved. A beautiful woman inside and out, she was humble, and most of all, an amazing mother. She will be greatly missed.
Anne was the beloved wife of Tomas Romero; loving mother of Thomas Romero and his wife Mary and Angie Romero; and the dear sister of Frank Gonzalez, Yolanda Schrembri, Maria Santiago, Edwin Salamanca and Carlos Salamanca.
